Here are a couple of recent inlay projects. The first was on a five-string bass I built for myself while I was in high school, and finally got around to selling - but not before refretting it and having some inlay fun along the way.
Nothing screams for inlay work like a fretless guitar. I was honored to be given complete artistic freedom from my customer on this gothic scene made of Mother of Pearl, Bloodwood, Wenge, and Rosewood.
Hi folks, welcome! I've been building and repairing guitars since 2001. For a while it was just a hobby, but in 2009 I graduated from the Guitar Building and Repair program in Red Wing, MN. I've had the privilege of working on a lot of people's instruments since then, and I'm currently making plans to build some more of my own. Thanks for visiting my blog - hope you find it enjoyable.
